The Wise Men were going to Bethlehem to pay homage to the Infant Jesus When you reach a small house they decided to stop and ask for guidance on the direction to take.
knocked on the door and opened it a little old. The Magi asked if he knew the way to go to Bethlehem because there was born the Savior. The woman who did not understand where they were going the Magi, he could not give them any indication.
The Magi asked the old lady to join them, but she refused because she had a lot of work to do.
After the three kings were gone, she realized that she had made a mistake and decided to join them to visit the infant Jesus But despite trying for hours and hours they could not find them and then stopped all child to give him a gift in the hope that this was the Child Jesus.
And so every year the night of 'Twelfth Night, to be forgiven, go around the world and stops at every house where there is a child to leave a gift if it was good, or coal, but if he did bad.
